Our friendly and experienced team is here to promote independence, connection, and well-being across our community.  Whether you’re caring for a loved one or seeking support yourself, Athens County Cares is here to help every step of the way.

At United Seniors, we understand that caregiving can be both rewarding and challenging. Our monthly support groups provide a welcoming space to connect with others who share similar experiences, exchange ideas, and find encouragement.  Each group meets monthly on different days. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a new caregiver, a long-time supporter, or simply seeking connection and understanding. 

Helping You Get Where You Need to Go
Our transportation program provides safe, reliable rides for seniors who need assistance getting to essential destinations. Whether it’s a medical appointment or a trip to the grocery store, our friendly drivers are here to help you stay active and independent.

We offer in-county and out-of-county transportation for qualifying appointments and needs.

Navigating Medicare can be confusing, we are here to help! United Seniors provides one-on-one Medicare Insurance Counseling to guide you through the process, from signing up for Medicare to understanding your plan and benefits.

Tune in every Tuesday and Friday, 10:30–11:00 AM, for the United Seniors Radio Show! We discuss topics that matter most to older adults, from health and wellness to community resources and occasionally feature guest speakers who share helpful information.
